Ho Chi Minh City. 09 September 2024. Vietjet will solidify its network connecting Vietnam to Taiwan and Hong Kong with a significant increase in flight frequency starting October 27, 2024. This enhancement, combined with attractive promotions, will provide more convenient and affordable flying options for travelers during the year-end festive season.
For Taiwan, Vietjet will add new daily flights on the routes linking Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s two largest metropolises, with Taipei, increasing the number of round-trip flights from one to two per day on each route. Additionally, Vietjet will also increase the flight frequency from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc to Taichung and Kaohsiung to daily on each route. These additions will make Vietjet operate 81 round-trip flights per week, up from 46 currently, on 9 routes to Taiwan, reinforcing its position as the airline boasting one of the most extensive networks between Vietnam and Taiwan.
The service between Da Nang and Hong Kong will also see daily operation, up from four weekly flights currently. The Phu Quoc – Hong Kong route will transition to a daily service, up from three flights per week. The addition will nearly double Vietjet’s total number of round-trip flights between Vietnam and Hong Kong, up from 11 to 18 per week.
Booking flights at this time, travelers can take advantage of a special promotion as Vietjet celebrates its major milestone of 200 million passengers. From now until September 15, 2024, passengers can enjoy a 20% discount on Eco tickets (terms and conditions applied, limited availability) across Vietjet’s flight network by using the promo code “VJ200.” This exclusive offer is valid for travel through November 15, 2024. Additionally, millions of zero-fare tickets (exclusive of taxes and fees) on all international routes are available for booking every Friday via www.vietjetair.com and the Vietjet Air mobile app.
Vietjet’s extensive network makes it easier for travelers to embark on new journeys across the Asia-Pacific region. The airline is committed to expanding its fleet with the addition of 10 new aircraft scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2024. These planes, primarily the advanced A321neo ACF models, will support the expansion of the airline’s network and enhance passenger experiences.
