(Ho Chi Minh City, August 1, 2024) Vietjet has celebrated a significant milestone by welcoming its 200 millionth passenger, marking a new achievement in its sky connection journey between Vietnam and the world. 

The 200th passenger, Sandeep Mehta, an Indian businessman, received a complimentary gift of one year to fly on Vietjet’s international flights.

In conjunction with this celebration, Vietjet also announced the launch of a new route linking India’s western city Ahmedabad with Vietnam’s famous coastal city Da Nang, which is set to commence operations in October 2024. The announcement was made at Vietnam – India Business Forum in New Delhi, India with the witness of Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders and business representatives from both countries.

On this occasion, Vietjet is offering a week-long promotion from August 2 – August 8, 2024 (GMT+7), with two million tickets priced as low as USD0 (*) on Vietjet’s entire domestic and international flight network. The promotional tickets are available for booking at www.vietjetair.com and the Vietjet Air mobile app, with a travel period between September 4, 2024 and May 22, 2025 (**).
