Vietjet links Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka in Japan

Ho Chi Minh City. 25 April 2025. Vietjet has further strengthened its international flight network with the successful launch of two new direct routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s most dynamic economic center with Nagoya, a key industrial hub in central Japan, and Fukuoka the vibrant gateway to Kyushu Island. The commencement marks a new milestone in Vietjet’s 2025 expansion, alongside new services to India, China, and Singapore, to enhance travel convenience and foster cultural and economic exchange across the Asia-Pacific region.

The inaugural flight from Ho Chi Minh City touched down at Nagoya’s Chubu Centrair International Airport on April 24, 2025, followed by the first Ho Chi Minh City – Fukuoka flight on April 25, 2025. Passengers on both inaugural flights were warmly welcomed with commemorative gifts onboard and greeted with celebratory water salutes at the airports.

The new Ho Chi Minh City – Nagoya service operates four round-trip flights weekly, while the Ho Chi Minh City – Fukuoka route offers three round-trip flights weekly. With these additions, Vietjet now operates ten direct services between Vietnam and Japan, offering up to 138 weekly flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City and/or Hanoi with Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima.
To celebrate the launch, Vietjet is offering promotional Eco-class fares starting from USD0 (exclusive of taxes and fees). These special fares are available for booking every Friday until December 31, 2025, for international flights to Vietnam, with travel time from now through the end of the year (excluding peak periods and national holidays). Bookings can be made via www.vietjetair.com or the Vietjet Air mobile app.
