Turkish Airlines, the airline that flies to more countries than any other, marked its participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai with the Asia-Pacific debut of its new Crystal Business Class Suite in Türkiye’s Pavillion, held cultural celebratory event titled “Connect to Türkiye” and premiered its documentary “Kushimoto,” honoring over a century of Japan–Türkiye friendship.

Blending modern aesthetics, advanced technology, and elevated privacy to set a new benchmark in premium inflight comfort, the Crystal Business Class Suite is being showcased for the first time in the region at the Türkiye Pavilion and will remain on display until mid-July 2025. Its debut underscores Turkish Airlines’ continued investment on passenger experience and its strategic focus on the Asia-Pacific region.

In addition to its participation at Expo 2025 Osaka, Turkish Airlines hosted “Connect to Türkiye” gala event at Hotel New Otani Osaka, with Türkiye’s Minister of Trade Prof. Ömer Bolat, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Prof. Ahmet Bolat and other prominent figures, key stakeholders, media, and cultural leaders in attendance. The evening opened with the premiere of “Kushimoto,” an original and heartfelt documentary by Turkish Airlines narrating the long-standing ties between the two nations through parallel storytelling, real life accounts of residents in Kushimoto, and commentary from Turkish and Japanese historians. The soundtrack of the documentary features a special composition by Seiji Mukaiyama and traditional melodies from both cultures, including a piece written by villagers of Kushimoto. Following the documentary premiere, a symbolic ceremony that paired Japanese green tea with Turkish baklava took place in collaboration with renowned Japanese content creators. Guests also experienced a variety of Türkiye’s cultural traditions in the foyer area before enjoying a refined gala dinner.
