· What to expect at LIMA 2019?
Kuala Lumpur. 26 March 2019. Ahead of LIMA 2019, Thomas Pistre, Malaysia Country Director, Thales shares his perspective of the show.
“Thales unwavering commitment and support to the Malaysian armed forces, has led to the development of many innovative technologies supporting our customers big ambitions.
Over the past 40 years, we have been actively involved in the three largest programmes for the Malaysian Ministry of Defence: the AV8 programme for the Army; the Gowind corvettes for the Navy; and the STARStreak air defence programme for the Malaysian Joint forces. In addition, we continue to build long-term partnerships and grow our local capabilities in Malaysia through transfer-of-technology, developing human capital, training and offsets.
In a bid to reaffirm our support in Malaysia, Thales will be participating in the 15th Edition of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (‘LIMA’) Exhibition 2019, happening 26-30 March 2019, at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (‘MIEC’) in Langkawi.
Thales will be showcasing various Thales solutions in the areas of Air Surveillance – Combat and Defence, Air Traffic Management, Counter UAV, Armament and Naval. Visitors can look forward to the Thales Naval and Air Defence Digital Experiences which showcases the entire portfolio of Thales solutions in an immersive experience.”
