Brussels. 17 June 2018. Dassault Aviation has signed a partnership agreement with Thales to develop an industrial center of excellence for cybersecurity in Belgium.
This agreement is part of the proposed strategic Franco-Belgian partnership regarding combat aviation. It is in addition to those already signed which cover a wide variety of fields, including maintenance of the Rafale combat aircraft, training of aeronautical engineers, involvement in UAV projects, automation of production lines, additive manufacturing, predictive maintenance, simulation, research into advanced materials, and Smart City projects.
A wide and diverse range of technological skills and innovations will be developed on a federal and regional level to cover all fields relating to cybersecurity including energy, transportation, city management and telecommunications.
