New Delhi. 02 October 2016. Indian Coast Guard Ship Samudra Pavak has apprehended a Pak boat with 09 crew at about 1015 hours.
The preliminary information indicates the crew to be Pak fishermen. However, the Pak boat and the crew have been taken over by the Indian Coast Guard ship and being escorted to Porbandar for further rummaging/joint investigation.
In the prevailing security scenario, enhanced vigil with deployment of ships and aircraft by the Indian Coast Guard has been undertaken for the coast off the Gujarat coast.
