SpeedJet Aviation Academy, in association with Bahrain’s Gulf Aviation Academy, opens New Training Centre in Indore

–          GAA SpeedJet Aviation to Offer Courses for Pilots, Cabin-Crew, Engineers and Ground Staff

Mumbai/New Delhi, April 20, 2018. GAA SpeedJet Aviation Academy, a partnership between Gulf Aviation Academy (part of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, the investment arm for the Kingdom of Bahrain) and domestic aviation training institute SpeedJet Aviation, has opened its 6^th new centre in the city of Indore. The academy will offer a comprehensive range of structured training programs for all aviation personnel including pilots, cabin crew, engineers and ground staff with training sessions in GAA’s training facility at Bahrain.
 
The GAA SpeedJet Cabin Crew Program is recognised by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAAi) of United Kingdom and rewards students with a certificate recognised by CAAi & all major aviation regulators around the globe. SpeedJet Aviation Academy’s detailed and well thought-out 24week long program offers rigorous classroom and practical training in personality development, grooming, voice modulation, safety and first aid, among others. Along with this, the course ensures ability and preparedness of the crew to handle all flight safety and emergency situations on board.

Talking to the media in Indore, Capt. Dharamraj Shukla, Director, SpeedJet Aviation said, “We started off with a single center in Mumbai and now have expanded operations to key markets of Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Thane, Pune, Jaipur, and now Indore. Over the last two years, we have trained over 1000 Pilots, Cabin Crew & Ground staff with a healthy success ratio of over 80% in placements. We also have leading airlines, including Go Air and Indigo, to conduct in-house interviews for our Cabin Crew students. We are excited to offer students of Indore a competitive advantage in the aviation industry that is at par with international norms.”

The Academy’s range of training programs include Pre-Pilot Program (12-15 months), Cabin Crew Program, Ground Handling Program and Type Rating Program.The students are trained in the GAA Cabin Crew mock set-up (in Bahrain) which includes 3 mock aircraft including A320, B737 & EMB 170 where all safety drills are performed by the students practically. It is the only company to offer this type of training in India. SpeedJet also takes care of students’ visa, tickets, ground transportation & 3-5 star hotel accommodation (including breakfast) for the full course duration in Bahrain.
