• New PacStar Modular Radio Chassis and brackets ease and speed integration of tactical radio ecosystems, enabling any echelon to quickly and easily deploy at the tactical edge

MODERN DAY MARINE – Washington, D.C. (Booth #1613) – April 29, 2025 – Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions Division will highlight its expanded PacStar® Radio Ecosystem line of tactical radio solutions including the PacStar Modular Radio Center (MRC) and PacStar Radio Chassis for seamless integration of handheld radios into Radio over IP (RoIP) and unified communications ecosystems at Modern Day Marine, April 29-May 1, 2025 (Booth #1613), Washington D.C. On display will be PacStar 400-Series RoIP modules that quickly and easily integrate with Curtiss-Wright’s highly configurable PacStar MRC solution and deliver ease of use at any echelon and high interoperability while offering the smallest footprint and the lowest weight possible.

“Today’s warfighters need radio communications solutions that are easy-to-use while lowering SWaP at the tactical edge, and our latest PacStar solutions were developed in direct response to warfighter feedback,” said Brian Perry, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions Division. “Our new game-changing chassis and bracket system enables RoIP capabilities to be fielded faster with trusted equipment, while reducing SWaP and simplifying training at the tactical edge.”

A powerful advantage of using PacStar tactical radio modules to set up a radio network is the process can be quickly learned by lightly trained warfighters. Even better, network management can be easily managed using Curtiss-Wright’s IQ-Core® Software via its traditional single-pane-of-glass interface. For use on-the-move or while wearing gloves, IQ-Core Software can be operated with a touchscreen-optimized simplified interface. This combination of ease of use and flexibility delivers increased warfighter win capacity for the USMC and all DoD branches using PacStar modules and IQ-Core Software network management tools.
