• Saab will be exhibiting at IDEX (stand 07 B41) from 20-25 February, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Abu Dhabi, UAE. 19 February 2023.  Visit our stand to learn more about how Saab can transform the capabilities of our customers on the battlefield. From the air this starts with GlobalEye, providing national or coalition forces with long range surveillance and operational awareness across land, sea and air. On the surface Giraffe radars locate and track the most challenging of small targets. From the compact Giraffe 1X to the larger Giraffe 4A, these radars can operate in isolation or as part of an air defence network to defend critical national infrastructure.

Providing a rapidly deployable, robust communications network is Saab’s DeployNet system, leveraging the latest 5G technology. Designed and produced in the UAE, DeployNet was brought to market through co-operation with the UAE’s Tawazun Council.

When faced with operational threats, survivability becomes critical and Saab’s Barracuda products provide signature management that redefines the term camouflage. Finally, Saab’s selection of automated warning and countermeasure systems detect hostile weapon systems and incoming threats thereby allowing evasive measures to deny the opponent.

The following press briefing will be held at the Saab stand and accredited media are welcome to attend.
