Moscow. 20 August 2022. Emergency Area competition of International Army Games 2022 has come to an end in Hanoi. Closing ceremony was held today at Myeu Mon training ground of National Military Training Centre No 4.
Based on the results of the three stages of the competition, teams of Russia and Vietnam shared the victory. Elarus is in second place. Third place went to the team from Mali. Myanmar and Congo finished fourth and fifth respectively.
The ceremony was attended by Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Igor Kolesnikov, Head of the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Federation, Gennady Bezdetko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Vladimir Borovikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, military attachés from India, Russia, Belarus and Myanmar.
