- The F-15SG fighter aircraft performing an aerial manoeuvre as part of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF)’s integrated aerial display at the Singapore Airshow (SA2024).
Changi, Singapore. 18 February 2024. The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will be participating in Singapore Airshow 2024 (SA24), held from 20 to 25 February at the Changi Exhibition Centre.
The RSAF will be performing a series of aerial manoeuvres with an F-15SG fighter jet and an AH-64D helicopter. The RSAF’s integrated aerial display will demonstrate the manoeuvrability and precision of each asset, as well as showcase the flying skills and teamwork of the RSAF aircrew and ground crew involved. The RSAF’s full array of aircraft and ground-based air defence systems that protect Singapore’s skies day and night will also be on static display to allow Singaporeans to view and learn more about the RSAF.
Speaking about the RSAF’s training and preparations leading up to the aerial display for SA24, Chairman, RSAF Flying Display Committee, Lieutenant Colonel Ng Han Lin Max said, “Team RSAF is delighted that we can through the aerial display, allow Singaporeans to have a better appreciation of the capabilities of our aircraft. Our aircrew who are performing are actually from our operational squadrons and not full-time aerial display team – but, we hope to demonstrate our professionalism, precision and passion in all that we do in the aerial display. We hope all Singaporeans will support our performance – whether here, at show centre, or via the livestream.”
Chairman for the RSAF Sub-Committee for SA24, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Yeong Kah Wai, who oversees the RSAF’s activities at the Changi Exhibition Centre, said, “The airmen and women of the RSAF will be sharing with Singaporeans about the systems we operate, and all the behind-the-scenes activities that takes place for the RSAF to defend our skies. We hope to deliver a positive experience for the visitors and the public through SA24.”
