Moscow. 19 August 2021. As part of the international military-technical forum Army-2021 in the Transbaikal territory, on the main site of a large-scale event in the Victory park of the city of Chita, military personnel of the engineering support unit of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (EMD) will demonstrate samples of modern pontoon equipment.
So, as part of the static display, a pontoon suit with a floating body armor Korsar-MP, as well as a combat breastplate 6B46, will be shown for the guests of the forum.
The Korsar-MP kit is intended for military personnel of pontoon-bridge units when equipping and maintaining bridge and ferry crossings. It protects against adverse weather conditions and allows the pontoon to stay and work in the water up to the chest line.
The kit includes: a safety vest with armor protection Korsar-MP, a windproof jacket, a waterproof half-overalls with boots, a warming jacket and trousers, a bag for storing and transporting the suit, as well as split gloves to protect hands from mechanical influences and insulating woolen gloves. The kit is equipped with a warming pad for cold weather.
In addition, as part of the demonstration of weapons and military equipment, guests of the large-scale event will be able to visit exhibitions showing historical equipment and small arms, combat equipment and modern surveillance devices, aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, modern samples of military equipment and technical means of the armed formations and military units of the EMD.
In total, more than 100 weapons samples will be presented at the thematic sites of the military-technical forum, including aviation equipment and samples recently received by the military units of the EMD stationed in the Transbaikal territory.
