Mumbai. 08 June 2024. Ospree Duty Free by MTRPL, in collaboration with Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ), India’s largest commercial port operator, is delighted to announce the launch of duty-free shops at two flagship ports: Mundra and Krishnapatnam. Mumbai Travel Retail Private Limited (MTRPL) is a JV between Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) and Flemingo Travel Retail Private Limited (FTRPL). This significant expansion marks a new chapter in enhancing the shopping experience for crew and passengers, promoting tourism, and bolstering India’s maritime commerce.
In the first phase, Ospree Duty Free will open shops at six seaports: Mundra and Krishnapatnam (recently launched), followed by Kattupalli and Hazira by the end of June, and Dhamra and Gangavaram by the end of July 2024. Offering a wide range of international duty-free goods, including imported liquor, confectionery, perfumes, travel accessories, and destination products, these shops will cover a total retail space of 6,500 sq ft and cater to over 600 vessels monthly.
