Kamptee, Nagpur. 30 November 2023. On the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the NCC, Brig Niranjan S Jog, Officiating Commandant, National Cadet Corps Officers Training Academy conveyed his best wishes and felicitations to all Ranks, Civil Defence Employees and Families of the Academy.
Addressing the gathering during special Sainik Sammelan on 28 Nov 2023, Brig Niranjan S Jog, complimented all the members of the Academy for their hard work and dedication to train the Associate NCC Officers and Cadet Training Officers who attend courses in the Academy.
He highlighted that over a period of 75 years the NCC has emerged as a major contributor to nation building and the future also looks bright with the youth showing keen interest towards NCC and incorporating ‘Unity and Discipline’ the core of NCC into their lives.
He further emphasized that although NCC OTA is not directly involved in training of NCC Cadets yet by imparting training to ANO/CTOs we are ensuring their trainers are trained in the best possible manner.
The officiating Commandant urged everyone to take a pledge to strive for excellence and ensure that the trainees who come to the Academy are trained and shaped to realise the vision of NCC.
