New Delhi. 27 March 2024. The National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) under Munition India Limited, Ministry of Defence proudly announces the commencement of admissions for its ground breaking Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program for the academic years 2024-2026, following the success of its inaugural cohort from 2023 to 2025.
Tailored to meet the distinctive needs of the defence sector, this program aims to cultivate future leaders in defence production and related fields. As the sole institution offering such a program under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, NADP holds accreditation and an “Ati Uttam ” grading in the National Standards for Civil Service Training Institutions (NSCSTI) by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and is duly approved by AICTE with awards for Educational Excellence from IBC and Berkshire Business Leadership Award and Shiksha Bharti Award 2024.
The NADP-PGDM program, recognized for its academic excellence, equips students with specialized knowledge in defence policies, procurement processes, and technology, including areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Analytics, and Industry 4.0. Emphasizing leadership development, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum covering Geo-Politics, Warfare, Armed Forces Organization, and Public Policy, complemented by immersive training experiences and mentorship from industry leaders.
In addition to theoretical learning, students benefit from practical exposure through industrial visits and expert talks, facilitating hands-on learning and networking opportunities. With a strong focus on placement and industry collaborations, NADP intends to give 100% placement rate for its inaugural batch based on the confidence that it has offered overwhelming response from Solar Industries, KPMG, Tata Advanced Systems Limited, TIDCO, Walchandnagar Industries, MIL, AVNL, and AWEIL for Internships.
