National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) has been awarded the prestigious Stevie International Award in Istanbul. The recognition from the Stevie Awards, renowned for celebrating outstanding achievements in the workplace, reflects NADP’s nearly 50-year legacy of innovation and dedication to enhancing the capabilities of defence professionals.
The judges praised NADP for its commendable history in training officers, highlighting the impactful course curriculum and the significant contributions made to the defence sector in India. They noted that NADP’s collaborations with esteemed institutions like IIM Indore and IIM Nagpur greatly enhance the credibility and effectiveness of its programs.
NADP takes immense pride in its pivotal role in building capacity for Atma Nirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) within Defence Production Management. Acting as a Think Tank, NADP is at the forefront of transforming Defence Manufacturing and Innovation. Additionally, NADP will soon offer a cutting-edge module for the Hybrid Executive MBA Program at IIM Visakhapatnam, approved by the Department of Defence Production, catering to all Defence PSUs and the private sector.
National Academy of Defence Production has been a cornerstone of central training in Defence for over four decades, recognized by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) with accreditation from Capacity Building Commission. With a rich heritage stemming from the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), NADP, now under Munitions India Limited, has successfully trained more than 20,000 officers across various defence-related cadres and is proud to be the first institute in India offering a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) focused on Defence.
This award joins an impressive roster of accolades for NADP, including the Golden Peacock Training Award and several recognitions for educational excellence. NADP remains committed to fostering innovation and excellence in defence training, ensuring that they continue to meet the evolving needs of the armed forces and contribute significantly to national security.
