Nagpur. 20 March 2024. Maintenance Command Mini Commanders’ Conference on the theme of “Capability Enhancement” was held at Vayusena Nagar on 19 Mar 24. Air Marshal Vibhas Pande, AOC-in-C, Maintenance Command presided over the conference.
The AOC-in-C in his address appreciated the vital role being played by HQMC and its Units towards sustenance of various fleets and systems. He lauded the efforts being undertaken towards indigenization and encouraged the units to continue their efforts towards self-reliance especially in the current geo-political scenario. He emphasized that IAF is ready to enhance all-round capabilities and develop a flexible mindset to prosecute possible future wars, considering the current complex and dynamic strategic environment. He also said that the current geo-political landscape has provided the force and opportunity to reduce dependency on imports by developing indigenous capability
The AOC-in-C awarded trophies to Units which were adjudged best in their respective fields of activities. He also handed over the Chief of the Air Staff and AOC-in-C’s appreciation cards to the Units for outstanding contribution towards Atma Nirbhar Bharat Mission.
