What: Mission Control and Astrobotic will announce a groundbreaking partnership for a joint rover demonstration mission to the Moon. The CubeRover™, developed by Astrobotic, will be integrated with Mission Control’s Spacefarer™ operations platform and flown aboard Astrobotic’s Griffin-1.

Why: This partnership marks a significant milestone in lunar exploration technology, enabling real-time commanding and monitoring of the CubeRover™ as it explores the lunar south pole. Supported by the Canadian Space Agency’s Lunar Exploration Accelerator Program (LEAP), this demonstration mission highlights the importance of international collaboration in space exploration.
