Athens, Greece. 11 May 2023. Already from the first day of operation of DEFEA 2023 industrial cooperation agreements were signed.
The most important was the acquisition of the leading Greek electronics company Intracom Defense (IDE) by the Israeli IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries). The final agreement was signed by the company’s president,
Sokratis Kokkalis, at the company’s exhibition stand at DEFEA. In addition, in the context of DEFEA 2023, the activation of the contract between the Greek company EODH (Engineering-Office-Deisenroth Hellas) and the German company KMW (Krauss-Maffei Wegmann) was signed, which concerns the manufacture of the armor of the Leopard tanks of the Norwegian army .
During the second day of the international exhibition, a comprehensive cooperation agreement was signed between the German company AUTOFLUG GmbH and the group of Greek and German companies ALTHOM GmbH and ALTHOM Engineering E.P.E. This long-term cooperation is for the design and development of safety seats as well as for the creation of technical documentation.
It must be noted that this cooperation agreement marks the next step in a cooperation between the contracting partners that has already existed since 2019.
