Major General Ashok Krishna was Founder Director of the Amity Institute of Competitive Intelligence & Strategic Management at Amity Univ. from 2003 to 2013 He had outstanding grade in M .Sc. (Defence Studies) from Madras Univ. He commanded an Infantry Battalion during ’71 war & has served in all theatres in India during 37 years with the Indian Army.He has held prestigious appointments in the DGMO & AHQ..He was commander Higher Command wing at Army War College, where he trained officers from all the three services He has the distinction of being instructor at DSSC, Wellington & Intelligence Training School Pune. He is the recipient of award Ati Vishistha Sewa Medal.
Following retirement in ’94 he was serving with IDSA as senior fellow & Institute of Peace& Conflict Studies as Deputy Director for nearly 7 years. He has authored “India’s Armed Forces: Fifty Years of War & Peace” & co-authored ”Kargil : The Tables Turned “. He has also contributed chapters in two books & written many articles on insurgency & terrorism. Thereafter he did pioneering work in the field of Competitive Intelligence & Corporate Warfare in the last 11 years.
