Bangalore. 13 February 2025. India is actively pursuing the development of its Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), a fifth-generation stealth fighter. The Indian government aims to produce the AMCA domestically, envisioning it as a crucial component of the Indian Air Force’s future combat strategies. The development of the AMCA is motivated by concerns over China’s growing aerial capabilities and Pakistan’s acquisition of stealth fighters. If successful, India will become one of few countries to possess super-cruise and stealth aircraft capabilities, with a design geared towards evading radar detection.
