New Delhi. 11 October 2024. The Indian Army’s Level III Hospital at the United Nations Force Headquarters (UN FHQ) proudly celebrated Mental Health Month 2024 at the United Nations Organization Stabilisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) from 10th September to 10th October. The theme, ‘Break Stigma: Support at Work,’ aimed to promote the mental health of UN peacekeepers.

A variety of activities, including workshops, lectures, bird walks, skits, yoga sessions, and creative competitions, were conducted throughout the month to foster mental health awareness and overall well-being. These initiatives were highly appreciated by peacekeepers from various UN contingents.

The month-long event concluded on 10th October 2024, coinciding with World Mental Health Day. Brigadier General Ranjan Mahajan, Commander of the Central Sector, along with other dignitaries from the Force Headquarters, attended the closing ceremony.

In his closing remarks, Colonel Rajesh Adhau, emphasised the importance of the concept “Let’s Talk at the Workplace” to encourage individuals to openly share their challenges. He further stressed that “every problem has a solution, and if there is no solution, then it is not truly a problem.”
