• A Display of Skill, Spirit and Synergy | ITBP Emerges as the Best Team

Dr. Smt. Sumita Mishra, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Government of HaryanaThe 43rd All India Police Equestrian Championship and Mounted Police Duty Meet 202425 concluded with great dignity and enthusiasm at the Basic Training Centre, Bhanu (ITBP). A total of 588 male and female riders from 19 States and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) across the country participated, showcasing exceptional skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the championship.

The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony was Dr. Smt. Sumita Mishra, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Government of Haryana. She congratulated all participants, Himveers, media representatives, and guests on behalf of the Government of Haryana and felicitated the winners with trophies. She lauded the event as a celebration of professional competence and cooperation among police forces.

All participating teams demonstrated remarkable courage, discipline, and high-level equestrian training across various competitions.

Grand Conclusion of the 43rd All India Police Equestrian Championship & Mounted Police Duty Meet 2024–25In the women’s category, Constable Priyadarshini (CRPF) was declared Best Woman Rider, securing 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.

In the men’s category, Shri Rameshwar Rana, Second-in-Command, ITBP, earned the Best Rider title with a total of 8 medals, and was awarded the prestigious Mewar Challenge Trophy.

ITBP emerged as the Best Team for the fourth consecutive year, winning a total of 25 medals, and was awarded the Chhatrapati Challenge Trophy.

Rajasthan Police secured 2nd position, followed by Assam Rifles in 3rd place.

This national event was not only a competition but a celebration of unity, discipline, and the rich equestrian traditions of Indian police forces.
