Science based targets will play a key role in accelerating its greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts.
“We are proud to announce our commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative,” said David Paja, CEO of GKN Aerospace. “Our mission is to be the most trusted and sustainable partner in the sky and we are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact every step of the way. By setting science-based targets, we can ensure that we are doing our part to build a sustainable future of aviation for generations to come.”
SBTi is a collaboration between the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). SBTi works with companies to set science-based targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring a sustainable future for the planet.Technology
