Orlovka. At the first stage of the 13th All-Russia Meeting of Aviation Fans, Aviasalon JSC, the organizer of the International Aviation and Space Salons MAKS, presented a thematic fair General Aviation that will be held within MAKS-2019.
“The thematic fair General Aviation is a unique project that will allow people piloting light aeroplanes and manufacturers of ultra-light aircraft not to get lost among trunk airliners and supersonic fighters. The fair will take place at a separate platform and have its business and flight programs and exposition in a specially equipped space”, Vladimir Sovetkin, Deputy CEO of Aviasalon, said.
General aviation airplanes are permanently exhibited at MAKS, however in 2019, the salon will provide the best conditions for a fruitful work. Special pavilions will be built to arrange stands of flying clubs and associations, aircraft and equipment manufacturers. Special zones will be designed for holding business meetings, seminars and presentations of new products. Thanks to well-equipped parking lots for light aircraft and a new taxiway, the exhibition will include a large number of full-scale aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to 1 ton.
Aviasalon JSC will offer special terms to the participants of the thematic fair. For example, specialized associations, societies and clubs have the right for discounts when renting aircraft parking lots. Private aircraft owners will also have the opportunity to participate in the event.
The program of the thematic salon is currently being formed, but even today, the organizer notes that industry enterprises are interested in carrying out presentations of aircraft and components, conducting training seminars, including those on aviation legislation, as well as round tables and conferences.
Visitors to MAKS will enjoy aircraft demonstrated at the thematic salon and a special flight program, which will include performances by aerobatic teams, and individual and group performances of private pilots. The gem of the event will be a sports program, within which the final of the Aerobatics Championship MAKS Cup and demonstration performances of the winners of MAKS Sympathy Cup ultralight aircraft freestyle competition will be held.
