For the first time in history, the town of Tral in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district witnessed the unfurling of the Indian national flag at Tral Chowk on the occasion of India’s 76th Republic Day. This landmark event, attended by over 1,000 enthusiastic participants, marked a significant step in Tral’s journey towards peace, progress, and national integration. The flag, unfurled by representatives of three generations — an elderly, a youth, and a child — symbolized the unity and shared commitment of the people to a harmonious and prosperous future.

On India’s 76th Republic Day, history was made at Tral Chowk in Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir, as the Indian national flag was unfurled for the first time. The flag was jointly unfurled by an elderly, a youth and a child —symbolizing the unity of generations and their shared commitment to the nation.

The event drew over 1,000 attendees, with enthusiastic youth forming the majority. Chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and patriotic songs echoed across the town, creating an atmosphere of pride and unity.
