  • Combat-Ready Care. Nfilade Security’s Emergency Kits Win Over Forces at Milipol

New Delhi. 25 April 2025. At the heart of innovation in operational safety and preparedness lies Nfilade Security Solutions—a veteran-led company that has transitioned from corporate risk management to developing cutting-edge first responder medical kits. At Milipol India 2025, ADU caught up with Sahaj K Sah , Vice President Operations at Nfilade, to delve into the company’s mission, its Made in India ethos, and how it’s creating battlefield-ready medical kits for soldiers, paramilitary personnel, and even adventurers. From rural bikers to elite special forces, Nfilade is aiming to democratize access to quality emergency medical solutions.

ADU. What is Nfilade Security Solutions all about and what are you showcasing at Milipol India?

Sahaj K Sah. Nfilade is a corporate risk management consultancy driven by veterans from the Indian Army and Special Forces. During COVID, we started a health and safety vertical, which has now evolved into a core product line of first responder medical kits for the Army, paramilitary, and adventurers. Here at Milipol, we are showcasing our full suite—from individual combat kits to group-level med-packs.

ADU. Are your kits currently in use by Indian Armed Forces?

Sahaj K Sah. Yes, several units engaged in operations, especially in remote and high-risk zones, have adopted our kits. While we’re not yet part of the official inventory, our solutions are being procured directly by these units as per their needs. It’s gaining traction fast.

ADU. Are you also marketing to paramilitary forces and state police units?

Sahaj K Sah. Absolutely. We’ve reached out to several state police forces, especially in Naxal-hit regions, as well as CAPFs and the NDRF. In fact, NDRF officials here at Milipol expressed strong interest in a product demo at their HQ. We’re hopeful about widespread adoption.

ADU. How long has the company been around and what’s the manufacturing setup like?

Sahaj K Sah. We began conceptualizing the kits about two years ago and finalized designs after multiple user feedback iterations over the last year. Everything is made in NCR—100% Made in India. We’ve adapted global standards for our own terrain and user needs.

ADU. Are your products listed on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM)?

Sahaj K Sah. Yes, individual items are listed. The challenge is listing bundled kits as integrated products. We are working through that, and yes, we are GEM-registered and have delivered kits via GEM bids. But the L1 procurement process can be difficult for startups like ours.

ADU. What are your short-term and long-term goals?

Sahaj K Sah. Short-term. increase awareness and accessibility of our kits. Long-term. make emergency kits as commonplace as a seatbelt for both uniformed personnel and civilians—bikers, trekkers, travelers. We’re also targeting export eventually.

ADU. What’s been the response so far at Milipol?

Sahaj K Sah. It’s been encouraging. Operators from NSG, Assam Rifles, NDRF—everyone immediately connects with the product. They recognize the gap it fills and want us to showcase at their units. That validation means a lot.

ADU. Any final thoughts?

Sahaj K Sah. Emergencies strike when least expected.  Carrying a well-designed kit could be the difference between life and death. Like my grandfather said—carry an umbrella and it won’t rain. Similarly, carry a med-kit, and you’ll probably never need it—but if you do, it’s there.

Nfilade Security Solutions is proof that necessity breeds innovation. With a team of veterans, a clear mission, and deep insight into operational realities, the company is bridging a crucial gap in India’s emergency preparedness framework. Whether it’s elite combat troops or rural travellers, Nfilade’s Made in India medical kits are fast becoming essential equipment—potentially saving lives one pouch at a time.
