As the summer season approaches, Finnair is thrilled to introduce a new and exciting in-flight food and beverage selection that customers can enjoy on board. This special summer menu, inspired by the fresh and vibrant flavors of Nordic cuisine, will be available for both on-board purchase and pre-order from May through October, this year. This culinary adventure above the clouds promises to delight customers with its unique and refreshing offerings, making their flights even more enjoyable and memorable.

Finnair’s long-haul Business Class passengers can indulge in a sumptuous dining experience, featuring a carefully curated selection of starters and main courses. Inspired by Nordic flavors, the menu includes starters such as salmon sashimi, shrimp tartlet, and summer vegetables. For the main course, passengers can opt for panko-coated rainbow trout, served with sautéed leek and roasted vegetables, or one of two other options available. This exceptional culinary experience is further enhanced by the ability to pre-select the main course in advance through Finnair’s Manage Booking service, ensuring that passengers can tailor their meal to their personal preferences.

In the Premium Economy section, passengers on long-haul flights can enjoy two meals — a high-quality main meal and a lighter second meal or snack, along with a complimentary selection of hot and cold refreshments and alcoholic beverages. In Economy class, passengers receive a hot meal accompanied by non-alcoholic drinks, along with one complimentary serving of wine or a mild alcoholic beverage. For longer flights, a final light meal or snack is served before landing, complete with non-alcoholic beverages.

Finnair has also updated its summer snack menu with a variety of delicious options. Passengers can enjoy instant hot meals like vegetable Bolognese pasta, vegetable korma curry noodles, and berry oatmeal, complemented by choices such as cashew nuts or the returning favorite, blueberry muffin. Candy lovers will find Finnish classics like liquorice, salty liquorice, and fruit candy. New additions include a refreshing rosé wine. With the exception of the short route to Tallinn, Finnair continues to offer complimentary blueberry juice or water on all flights. Additional beverages like coffee, tea, and snacks are available for purchase, now including an oat drink option for coffee enthusiasts.

For passengers with special dietary requirements, they can pre-select your meal option at least 24 hours before their flight via the Manage Booking service or by updating their Finnair Plus profile. More details about this special menu are available on Finnair’s official website.
