Embraer has signed a contract with the Brazilian Army to deliver a SABER M200 Vigilante radarBrasília, Brazil, December 4, 2024 – Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; B3: EMBR3), a global leader in the aerospace industry, and the Brazilian Army, signed today a contract worth R$102 million at Mostra BID, the National Defense and Security Fair, for the delivery of one SABER M200 Vigilante radar already in series configuration.

The contract also includes continuing the technical and operational evaluation of the equipment and its future use in the Brazilian Army’s anti-aircraft artillery units.

The SABER M200 Vigilante uses advanced signal processing technology to detect and track positions, aircraft trajectories, and classify aerial targets, which guarantees ground forces more autonomy for its anti-aircraft defense systems. In addition, it has an integrated power generator, which makes it easy to transport, whether by land or air.

The Brazilian Army will be the first operator of the radar, bolstering its low and medium-altitude anti-aircraft defense capabilities. Its use by the EB should serve as a benchmark for exploring opportunities for use by the other Brazilian Armed Forces and the export market.
