The C-390 Millennium, designed by Embraer, is a new generation aircraft that is redefining the standards of versatility and operational efficiency. It can carry a greater payload (26 tons) compared to other medium-sized military transport aircraft, while flying faster (470 knots) and farther. It can perform a wide range of missions, including air logistics support, aerial surveillance, vehicles, cargo and troop transportation and airdrop, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting, and humanitarian missions. It can operate in hot and harsh conditions from temporary or unpaved runways, including packed earth, soil, coral, and gravel. The aircraft, when configured with air-to-air refueling equipment can conduct aerial refueling both as a tanker and a receiver.
The current global fleet of C-390 Millennium aircraft has accumulated more than 16,000 flight hours, with a 93% mission capability rate and mission completion rates exceeding 99%, demonstrating exceptional productivity in its category.
Recently, Sweden and Slovakia selected the Embraer C-390 Millennium as their new tactical transport aircraft. To date, the C-390 has been contracted by South Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal, Brazil, and an undisclosed customer.
In the field of light and versatile military aircraft, able to operate in the most demanding conditions, the A-29 Super Tucano is the undisputed leader. As a multi-mission aircraft, equipped with a state-of-the-art weapon system, the A-29 Super Tucano provides great versatility for armed reconnaissance, border surveillance, close air support, light attack, and advanced training missions on a single platform, which exponentially increases the aircraft’s availability and operational flexibility. Its robust airframe is capable of operating from unpaved runways in harsh environments.
The A-29 Super Tucano is the global leader in its category, with over 290 orders and more than 580,000 flight hours, with 60,000 of those in combat. In 2024, Embraer announced new sales of the Super Tucano to the Portuguese AirForce (A-29N), the Uruguayan Air Force, the Paraguayan Air Force and two undisclosed customers.
Embraer’s presence at IDEX 2025 reaffirms its commitment to providing customers with the most advanced aircraft and systems, enabling them to perform the most demanding missions, anytime, anywhere.
