Moscow. 20 August 2022. High mountain units completed one of the most challenging special tasks of Elbrus Ring competition of International Army Games 2022 – overcoming a mountain obstacle course near Tyrnyauz (Kabardino-Balkaria).
Also new this year for the mountain units was hitting targets with Makarov pistol.
The obstacle course was set in natural and rugged terrain, with a distance of 350-400 metres. A total of around 100 servicemen from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Uzbekistan, Rwanda and India are taking part in the competition.
The international stage of Elbrus Ring competition will be held until August 27 and will end with the teams climbing Mt Elbrus.
