In line with the Indian Army’s “Decade of Transformation,” the Infantry Directorate of Indian Army signed an MoU with ICICI Foundation on 09 October 2024. The agreement, signed by Brigadier Vikas Batra and Mr. Saketu Kumar in the presence of Major General Rajiv Chibber Additional Director General of Infantry, will establish four Regional IT Training Hubs at Bihar Regimental Centre, Danapur; Dogra Regimental Centre, Ayodhya; Jammu & Kashmir Rifles Regimental Centre, Jabalpur; and the Army Skilling Centre of Excellence, Raiwala. This initiative focuses on enhancing the training of Agniveers by upskilling them in IT, the digital skills development among Veterans, Veer Naris, and their dependents, supporting the Indian Army’s modernisation goals under the Infantry Directorate.
