Speaking at the event, Sachin K. Among the standout products presented by CP Plus were high-end long-range PTZ cameras, thermal imaging systems, body-worn cameras, mobile surveillance devices like NVRs (Network Video Recorders), and a wide range of indoor and outdoor surveillance systems. These solutions cater specifically to the challenging operational environments faced by Indian security forces, particularly in high-altitude regions. The display attracted significant attention from senior defence officials, including the Director Generals of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and General Officers Commanding (GOC), all of whom showed interest in the advanced capabilities of CP Plus’ surveillance technologies.
Sharma emphasized that CP Plus has been a longstanding partner to Indian defence, paramilitary forces, and various government agencies. “We understand the qualitative requirements of our defence forces,” Sharma stated. “Our focus is to provide indigenous surveillance solutions that are tailored for the diverse climates, geographies, and operational needs of the Indian market.” CP Plus’ solutions have been deployed across multiple commands of the Indian Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, paramilitary forces, and agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Sharma also noted that the company has been instrumental in completing installations for organizations like the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and the Border Security Force (BSF), which set qualitative standards for surveillance equipment.
Further bolstering its production capabilities, CP Plus recently inaugurated a new factory in Andhra Pradesh, with a monthly manufacturing capacity of over 3 million cameras, a first-of-its-kind facility in India. This new factory, in addition to an existing plant in southern India, marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to localize manufacturing and reduce dependency on imports. “Before us, no one was producing indigenous surveillance solutions at this scale in India. Sharma noted that high-level decision-makers, including Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Norther Army Commander, GOC of the 14th Corps amongst others who took a keen interest in the company’s offerings. “The feedback from officials has been overwhelmingly positive. They appreciate the quality and reliability of our indigenous solutions, and we had insightful discussions about how our technology can further support India’s defence needs,” Sharma shared.
