• The Advanced communication technology empowers forces to deploy and control multiple missiles in the field

July 08, 2024, Commtact Ltd., a global provider of advanced wireless communication solutions for defense, security forces, and robotic platforms, announces its selection for a multimillion$ missile project with a top-tier defense customer, marking a major milestone in the company’s journey. This landmark project involves R&D for a tailor-made solution that integrates smart communication for with advanced encryption, immunity capabilities across air, sea, and land domains, as well as multi-domain topologies.  The solution will enable the missiles to exchange critical information, adapt to changing missions, report communication issues, and adjust tasks on the fly, all of which enhance mission success and effectiveness to allow LOBL (Lock On before Launch) and LOAL (Lock on After Launch) modes of operation.

Derived from insights from recent conflicts, the system’s robust capabilities ensure real-time data collection, mission adaptation, and dynamic target changes, even in complex urban settings. The technology’s adaptability in adjusting communication frequencies and efficient data transmission make it ideal for short-range operations, up to dozens of kilometers. Moreover, the seamless plug-and-play installation enhances the missile’s capabilities without adding weight, representing a significant advancement in defense communications.

Guy Avrahami, VP Sales & Marketing at Commtact, emphasized the significance of the strategic deal, stating, “This important and strategic deal establishes our position in the missile field globally, integrating smart communication solutions for this segment. We are poised to set new standards in mission performance and operational resilience, redefining the capabilities of defense and security forces worldwide”.

Commtact also introduces for the first time, its multi-domain topologies technology, transforming communication in challenging warzones and urban environments. This technology empowers operators to seamlessly control multiple UASs in complex scenarios to elevate mission success and effectiveness.
