New Delhi. 03 December, 2015. Government has given site clearance to DMIDC for greenfield airport in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The Civil Aviation Minister said the government has granted “site clearance to DMIDC (project proponent) for setting up of a greenfield airport for public use near Bhiwadi, Rajasthan on November 18, 2015”.
Besides, approval has been granted for 12 other new airports at Mopa (Goa), Navi Mumbai, Sindhudurg and Shirdi (Maharashtra), Kannur (Kerala), Dabra ( Madhya Pradesh), Pakyong ( Sikkim), Kariakal (Puducherry), Bijapur, Gulbarga, Hassan and Shimoga (Karnataka).
