New Delhi. 08 March 2025. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region appointed new leadership for 2025-26 at its Annual Regional Meeting in New Delhi. Sunjay Kapur, Chairman of Sona Comstar, took charge as Chairman, while Puneet Kaura, Managing Director & CEO of Samtel Avionics, was named Deputy Chairman. Together, they aimed to drive growth, innovation, and industry competitiveness across seven states—Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand—and three Union Territories—Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh.
Sunjay Kapur, Chairman of Sona Comstar, assumed the role of Chairman of CII Northern Region for 2025-26. The announcement was made during CII Northern Region’s Annual Regional Meeting in New Delhi. As Chairman of Sona Comstar, Sunjay Kapur leads one of the world’s leading mobility technology companies.
