New Delhi 21st June 2024. Border Security Force observed the 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) as per the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) in the sprawling lawn of BSF campus at Nizamuddin, New Delhi, today.

More than 300 bordermen led by Sh Nitin Agrawal, DG BSF along with their families participated in a morning yoga session to celebrate the 10th International Day of Yoga – 2024 according to this year theme, “Yoga for Self and Society” for a holistic development. The session was very meticulously conducted by Smt Smita Agrawal, President, BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA). During the session, BSF personnel performed yoga under the watchful eyes of Yoga instructors. The session was aimed at promoting the benefits of yoga for physical, mental and spiritual well being. Yoga has taken a prime role in enhancing mental and physical robustness of troops in Border Security Force, so that they can discharge their duties efficiently in arduous, extreme & challenging conditions.

As a part of nationwide initiative, in Delhi and NCR, BSF observed IDY – 2024 at BSF campus, Nizamuddin from 0630 to 0815 hrs, today. The programme was streamed live in social media especially for the troops who are deployed in the far flung areas of the country.
