The Union Minister for Defence, Nirmala Sitharaman being presented the final
dividend cheque of Rs.64.4 crore for the financial year 2017-18 by the CMD, Bharat Electronics Limited(BEL), M.V. Gowtama, in New Delhi on November 15, 2018.

Bangalore. 15 November 2018. Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has paid a total dividend of 200 per cent to the Government of India for financial Year 2017-18. M V Gowtama, Chairman & Managing Director of BEL presented the 40 per cent final dividend cheque for Rs. 64.41crore for the year 2017-18, payable on the shares held by the President of India to Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The Interim Dividend of 160 per cent (on face value of Re. 1 per equity share) was paid to the Government of India in February 2018.
