New Delhi. 14 February 2024. DPSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) signed a contract for a value of
Rs.2,167.47 Crs plus taxes with the Indian Navy for supply of state-of-the-art, indigenously
designed and developed EW suite for use onboard warship. This EW suite is a big leap for
BEL’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
The system is an integrated electronic warfare (IEW) system with ESM and ECM functions. It is naval version IEW with capability of interception, measurement and jamming features. This system has quick reaction time for both ESM and ECM.
