New Delhi . 19 April 2019. Gowtama M V, Chairman & Managing Director, Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), has received the Distinguished Engineer Award instituted by the Engineering Council of India. Gowtama received the award from Anil Baijal, retired IAS officer and the 21stLieutenant Governor of Delhi, at a ceremony held in New Delhi.
It may be recalled that recently he has been conferred with the ‘Business Leader of the Year’ Award at the Aerospace & Defence Awards (2019). He received the award from Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Arup Raha, former Chief of Air Staff in the presence of Vice Admiral (Retd) Ganesh Mahadevan.
