Bengaluru, 23 July 2024: Mistral Solutions Pvt. Ltd., an AXISCADES company and a globally recognized technology design and systems engineering company, has been awarded the prestigious Defennovation Award 2024, for Excellence in Research and Development (SME) by ELCINA. This accolade recognized Mistral’s relentless efforts in advancing R&D activities within the defence sector and contributing significantly towards self-reliance for India in this critical field.
The ELCINA Defennovation Awards, established in 2018, aims to honour outstanding contributions in strategic electronics, including R&D, design, and manufacturing. This year several outstanding organizations were nominated by a committee comprising of industry stalwarts, which then debated their merits before reaching a unanimous decision. Mistral was nominated and awarded for its contribution to the ARUDHRA RADAR designed by DRDO, a homegrown rotating, active, phased array multi-function 4D RADAR that can automatically detect and track various aerial targets from slow moving objects to combat aircrafts.
