New Delhi. 01 March 2025. The national capital is set to become the epicenter of aviation dialogue and innovation as Aviation INDIA 2025 returns to the capital, with Times Aerospace Events announcing the summit’s dates and key partners. Scheduled for 29-30 October 2025 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Aerocity, this high-profile event will bring together aviation leaders, government officials, operators, regulators, OEMs, MROs, and suppliers from across the Indian aviation ecosystem and beyond. Notably, the MRO Association of India has been named as the first strategic partner, reiterating the growing importance of India’s indigenous MRO sector in the country’s aviation development.
Aviation INDIA will be a two-day, high-level networking summit & exhibition bringing together aviation professionals, leaders and C-suite executives from airlines, including cargo and business aviation operators, government, regulators, airports, lessors, OEMs, MROs, training, finance & leasing, insurance, law firms and aviation suppliers and services providers from across the entire supply chain.
“After an incredibly positive response from our partners across the Indian commercial aviation market to the inaugural event in June last year, Times Aerospace Events in partnership with Aviation Week Network, is delighted to announce the dates and venue for the 2025 edition of Aviation INDIA,” said Mark Brown, Managing Director of Times Aerospace Events.
“Over the coming weeks we will announce the first keynote speakers and lead sponsors and exhibitors that are being lined up for Aviation INDIA 2025,” said Brown. Brown said that Times Aerospace Events is delighted to unveil the MRO Association of India as a strategic partner of Aviation INDIA.
India and the United Kingdom are steadily strengthening their civil aviation ties, driven by increasing passenger demand, enhanced bilateral cooperation, and growing airline connectivity between the two nations. In 2024 and early 2025, both countries have worked towards expanding the existing air services agreement, allowing for more flights, new routes, and greater flexibility for airlines operating between India and the UK. Indian carriers, including Air India, Vistara, and IndiGo, have increased their frequencies to London Heathrow, Gatwick, and Birmingham, while British Airways and Virgin Atlantic continue to enhance their presence in India.
“Our association is honoured to be partnering with Times Aerospace Events for the second edition of Aviation INDIA,” said Bharat Malkani, chairman of the MRO Association of India. “The MRO sector in India is responding strongly to our country’s need for more home-grown engineering and technical services and promoting these efforts at Aviation INDIA will play a vital role in this drive.”
Under the title Aviation INDIA 2025: Shaping the pathway for Indian aviation, the summit will debate and examine how the industry is transforming at pace to unlock growth. To help shape the content and programme of the 2-day summit, Times Aerospace Events is bringing together a panel of Indian aviation experts to assist in this effort.
This panel features:
- Bharat Malkani, Chairman of the MRO Association of India and Chairman of Max Aerospace and Aviation Limited
- Willy Boulter, airline C-suite executive, senior aviation consultant, former Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo
- Sunam Datta, Chief Commercial Officer, Skyplan
- Neelam Mathews, veteran aviation, defence, travel and tourism correspondent
The Aviation INDIA 2025 event builds on the formula of the successful Times Aerospace Aviation Africa events, which began in Dubai in 2016 and have been successfully hosted in Rwanda, Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria and South Africa.
Additionally, discussions on partnerships in sustainable aviation, air traffic management modernisation, and collaboration on aviation safety and security have further solidified the ties. With growing business travel, strong diaspora connections, and an emphasis on tourism and trade, India and the UK are exploring opportunities for deeper collaboration in airport infrastructure development, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services, and training programs, positioning civil aviation as a key pillar of their bilateral relationship. The strengthening aviation ties also align with India’s focus on ‘Make in India’ and the UK’s vision for enhancing global connectivity through strategic partnerships.
With India’s aviation sector on the cusp of unprecedented growth, Aviation INDIA 2025 promises to be a vital platform for fostering innovation, investment, and policy alignment to unlock the sector’s full potential. By bringing together the best minds from India and abroad, and spotlighting key areas like MRO, sustainability, training, and finance, the event will play a crucial role in shaping the roadmap for India’s aviation future. With MRO Association of India as a key partner, and a distinguished panel of industry veterans steering the agenda, Aviation INDIA 2025 will be a must-attend event for anyone invested in India’s aviation journey.
