Nagpur, India. 14 June 2023. As part of Indian Army contributing towards its fellow citizens and society through various activities, a Blood Donation Camp was organised under the aegis of Headquarters Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat Sub Area at AFI Building at Nagpur Army Officers’ Mess and Institute (NAOMI) and Guards Regimental Centre, Kamptee on 14 June 2023 on the occasion of World Blood Donors Day today.
The camp was inaugurated by Major General SK Vidyarthi, AVM, SM, GOC HQ Uttar Maharashtra & Gujarat Sub Area, which included participation by Military Hospital, Kamptee, Nagpur. A total number of 46 volunteers came for the noble cause, which included service personnel, civil staff and their families of all age groups from Kamptee and Nagpur. The blood collected during the event will be shared with the Government Blood banks.
