Khabarovsk. 18 July 2021. During the international military – technical forum Army-2021, residents and guests of the Amur region will see the practical actions of units armed with modern armored vehicles in repelling an attack by a group of mock terrorists.
Tactical situations that have arisen during the armed conflicts in the Syrian Arab Republic will be simulated on the territory of the demonstration sites of the Army-2021 IMTF. In the demonstration scenes, the audience will see the reflection of the attack of a group of mock terrorists armed with small arms and light armored vehicles on a military unit. BMP-2 light armored vehicles and T-80VB tanks, as well as mortars and Hyacinth self-propelled artillery units will be used to repel the attack.
In addition, more than 50 new models of small arms and military equipment in service in the formations and military units of the Amur combined arms formation of the Eastern Military District (EMD) will be presented to visitors at the exhibition venues of the forum. About 1,500 military personnel will be involved in the implementation of the Army-2021 IMTF.
The Army-2021 forum will be held from August 26 to 28, 2021 on the territory of military garrisons stationed in the Amur region, the Jewish autonomy and the Khabarovsk territory.
