Moscow. 19 August 2021. In the formations and military units of the Eastern Military District, active preparations have begun for ARMY-2021 military-technical forum. This year, the main motto of the Army-2021 forum will be Artificial Intelligence-the main technology of the 21st century.
The forum is planned to be held in 30 settlements, on the territory of 10 constituent entities of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Buryatia to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, at more than 40 thematic sites.
Compared to 2020, the number of exhibition equipment will increase. In total, about 570 units of weapons and military equipment will be involved in the static display, including aviation equipment and the latest models of weapons of military and special equipment, which are in service in the formations and military units of the Eastern MD.
In addition, according to tradition, events have been planned for scientific and business and cultural and artistic programs.
Special attention in organizing and conducting the forum will be paid to sanitary and anti-epidemic measures to prevent the introduction and spread of coronavirus infection. In this regard, mobile medical teams and medical and nursing teams with a total number of more than 100 people will be involved in the event venues.
The military-technical forum on the territory of the Eastern Military District will be held at the end of August 2021.
It should be noted that the total number of visitors to the large-scale event in 2020 was more than 314,000 people.
