Moscow. 27 August 2021. Exhibition sites of the International Military and Technical Forum ARMY 2021, which, in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, is held from 22 to 28 August this year, began working in cities and at training grounds in the Eastern, Western and Central Military Districts on August 26.
Within the framework of the forum, over 28 thousand samples of military equipment, military products and technologies will be presented at 99 sites located in various regions of the country. More than 1,400 enterprises and organizations take part in the exhibition exposition of the Forum.
The most large-scale Forum is presented in the Eastern Military District, where more than 60 exhibition sites have opened on the territory of 11 constituent entities of the Far East. The static exposition show more than 600 pieces of weapons and military equipment, including about 20 aircraft and helicopters, 8 ships and submarines.
For the first time, the Forum sites have been deployed in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and in the Magadan Region, in the village of Pevek and in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
In the Western Military District, the events of the ARMY 2021 military-technical forum are organized in St. Petersburg and in Kronstadt on the basis of the Leningrad naval base.
In the Central Military District, events will take place at venues in three cities: in Yekaterinburg – at the Sverdlovsky training ground, in Samara – at the Roshinsky training ground, and in Novosibirsk – at the Tolmachevo military airfield. More than 400 pieces of modern and historical equipment, samples of advanced small arms and special equipment will be presented to the guests.
On August 27, exhibitions within the framework of the IMTF ARMY 2021 will start working in the Southern Military District and the Northern Fleet.
