Moscow. 19 August 2021. During the upcoming ARMY 2021 military-technical forum at the Vostochny airfield in Ulan-Ude, the newest armored vehicle Typhoon is planned for demonstration for the first time at the site of weapons and military equipment, which this year entered service with the combined arms formation of the Eastern Military districts.

Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the technical characteristics of the newest armored vehicle, the possibilities for overcoming difficult road sections and its purpose.

The GAZ-3344-20 Aleut all-terrain vehicle is made according to a modular scheme: the front link is an energy module in which 5 people can be transported, including the driver, the rear link is a transformable passenger module with a capacity of 15 people, which can be easily converted into a sleeping, medical unit or a command post, its payload was 2,500 kg.

GAZ-3344-20 Aleut is equipped with a well-proven diesel engine, automatic transmission and simple controls, like a truck.

Also at the Vostochny airfield will be displayed the Iskander-M operational-tactical complex, the T-72-B3 tank, the Rtut-BM radio jamming station, the TOR-M-2U and Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems, Tornado-G multiple launch rocket system, Rys and Tiger-M armored vehicles, Msta-S self-propelled artillery system.

On an area of over 10 thousand square meters along with exhibitions of advanced weapons, a wide cultural and entertainment program will be deployed.
