Moscow. 31 August 2021. The first stage of the field training competition among the airborne units Airborne Platoon has started in Ryazan.
At the first stage, the paratroopers had to land as part of a platoon of Mi-8 helicopters to the Zhitovo landing site, assemble and march with weapons and equipment.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan opened the stage, the national team of the Russian Federation was second to start, and the servicemen of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela closed the starting three.
All participants compete using D-6 parachute systems, with the exception of the team from China, which uses their own parachute systems. All the teams of the competition showed high results and will to win.
In total, about 450 military personnel from 18 countries are expected to participate in the international stage of the competition as part of national army teams.
