Nagpur. 09 October 2023. On the occasion of 91st anniversary of the Indian Air Force, Air Marshal Vibhas Pande, Air Officer Commanding in Chief (AOC-in-C), Maintenance Command laid a wreath at the ‘Shaurya Samarak’ to commemorate our valiant predecessors. He also administered the oath to all the personnel of Maintenance Command to serve the nation with honesty, integrity and devotion. Messages of President, Vice-President, Prime Minister, Defence Minister and Chief of the Air Staff were read out. During the occasion personnel who received the commendation of CAS and AOC-in-C were felicitated.
Various activities were organised to commemorate the 91st Anniversary of the IAF. These include blood donation camp on 29 Sep 23 in which 43 volunteers donated blood, a high tea on 03-04 Oct 23 for the air warriors, NCs(E), DSC personnel, MES personnel, civilians and other civilian agencies, culmination of Ni-Kshay Mitra programme, wherein HQ MC had sponsored 100 TB patients from Nagpur for past six months and a Health Run for air warriors along with their family on 07 Oct 23. A Bara khana was also organised for the air warriors of HQ MC on 07 Oct 23.
